hey rutuja, glad you liked the post and the pics. it has been ages someone left a comment.
as a person researching entrepreneurship, establishing and running a business is not as lofty as some of the popular0 writers make it out to be. anecdotal evidence apart, there are millions who did exactly the same things which the successful entrepreneurs did but have failed. should we be blind to these people? we seem to understand success only in the past tense, i am not sure if our understanding of business establishment can predit entrepreneurial success.
it was a great read, like every post of yours.
these days, the milkman comes on his Bajaj M 80 but still shouts ' amma...paal'. or atleast in the area of chennai, where i live.
yeah PS, i certainly do remember the dead calf stuffed with hay.

hey jyothsna, dont know what the problem could be. i am able to see it on my comp.

dmx, any place in the world could potentially be dangerous. Even when I was there, the crime was high. Sure one needs to be careful. I was extra careful. However, I did travel by local transport (matatu) and did go into the slum areas (for my research). All along everyone said that doing these are dangerous. I dont look flashy and i start talking to people immediately. I also start asking questions about what they do and things like that. chatting up, more often then not, works well. Also, a lot of people did tell me that I was lucky.
an entire blog to vada pav! great one, punds.
i love VP even. if i am travelling to mumbai, i start eating them right from solapur station itself. in pune (where i worked for many years) joshi's is famous but some mumbaikars think it is over-rated.
vad pav and chai with fried and salted green chilli, man, thats heavenly! the garlic chatni powder in karjat station is very nice. wonder how they make it?
heck, i should have married a maharastrian.
