this is the first time i tried writing after perhaps my school composition class and ofcourse emails. it sure is nice to write here, if there is so much of exposure. perhaps some of you could give comments on how to better the written matter.

well, i have seen the posting of the punds and have sent a mail to him. waiting for his reply.

another person gave a link to the Prostitution Information Centre. i have seen this place but it was closed when i went there. and believe me i have'nt gone that direction for some time. honestly!! ;-) i havent really walked around the red light area much. in the last three months, just once.

however, what was surprising for me to see a kindergarten bang in the middle of the red light district (RLD) . in the middle. perhaps the reason could be that peak business timings of both are completely different.

however, many years ago when our student group visited amsterdam and stayed in a youth hostel close to the RLD, i think there were lot more crowds. there were huge number of people then. maybe this time, i havent really been there during the 'peak hours'.

i visited the 'sex museum' about three years ago. dont know how it is now. when i visited it, it is more a collection of sex toys and porn over the years. i dont know if there was anything 'interesting'. since i dont remember, perhaps there is nothing much to see. i am not keen on spending 5 euro or so to find out. there are however, little private booths where one can drop in some coins to see porn. but my office mate says that they never clean the booths! you can imagine the sanitation inside.

about the van gogh musuem, i have to write a seperate blog.
